Are you actually located in Markham?

Do I need removal, or just a top-up?

My Berczy or Cornell home is from the early 2000s. Does it really need work?
Often, yes. A 2000s build typically got R-28 to R-32 of insulation, which has settled since — today’s standard is R-60, about 21.5 inches. Because these attics are usually clean and dry, the fix is straightforward: air-seal, baffle, and blow to R-60, typically one day on site.
